Conventional medical treatment

conventional medical treatment - includes all treatments and
diagnostic tests that one might expect from a traditional medical care
giver such as medicines, x-rays, scans, blood tests, etc...


Herbs include the use of natural botanical herbal supplements such
as ecchinachea, astragalus, milk thistle, saw palmetto, mullein, etc...

nutritional supplements

nutritional supplements - includes the use of vitamins, minerals, amino
acids and the like, usually found in food sources.  Such as Vitamins A, B, C, D, etc..., fish oil, probiotics, glucosamine.

nutritional regimens

nutritional regimens - utilizes specific dietary and supplement plans
specifically tailored to each individual, based on their own specific
nutritional needs and disease processes.


homeopathy - a medical science developed by physician Samuel Hahnemann
(1755-1843) where very small amounts of dilute medicines are used to
ease symptoms.  This medical strategy is based on what Hahnemann called the "Law of Similiars," like substances cure like ills.


acupuncture - an ancient medical system, developed by the Chinese
whereby the body symptoms are attributed to the disturbance in flow of
energy or chi.  Cures are achieved by changing that flow of energy
using very thin, sterile needles.

body work

body work - this refers to treatments that relieve symptoms using
specific techniques applied to the body such as, massage, physical
therapy, chiropractic, cranio-sacral therapy, rolfing, etc...

exercise regimens

exercise regimens - utilizes specifically tailored exercise programs designed to meet the needs of each individual.


yoga - an ancient system of stretching postures and manuevers designed
to increase the flexibility and connection of body and mind.


Counseling is the process of seeking advice surrounding life issues.  There are two types: traditional and transpersonal:

  • traditional:
    focuses on the specific issues that surround the circumstances of your
    life, such as realtionship issues, financial issues, childhood issues.
  • transpersonal: focuses on issues that are literally beyond the person.
    Incorporates spirituality and the whole person rather than the
    circumstances themselves.

Goes beyond the surface details

Delves into the foundation of the emotional body

Can uncover both conscious and unconscious motives that set the stage for
the dysfunctional patterns that are responsible for many symptoms and
disease processes.

                  Often answers the questions:

  1.  What are the emotions, fears and emotional themes that pop up in my life over and over again; and
  2. where do they come from? How and why do they keep appearing in my life?        


Imagery - utilizes a storylike script to elicit, unlock  and reveal hidden
emotional details that represent the roots of mind and/or body symptoms

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt Therapy - a process whereby the client is guided into  a meditative state through the use of mindfulness (awareness centered in the present moment) and assisted in the process of working through and releasing a prominent emotion from a life situation or a dream.  The use of imagery
and metaphors are an important part of this therapy.


Hypnosis - a process whereby a memory or an emotion or experience that is buried in the subconscious is evoked through the use of a trance like state and used as a foundation for healing.

Dream Interpretation

Dream Interpretation - a process that uses dreams and the metaphors contained within them as a tool for healing.
